Project Information
Akwadum Christian Village is a residential institution that cares for children who have lost their parents or cannot live with their biological families. We aim to provide shelter, food, and education to orphaned or abandoned children.
Primary goal of the project
Akwadum Christian Village aim to offer support to vulnerable children, school dropout both young girls, boys, and widows so as to combat the injustice that they are subject to in their respective communities.
Akwadum Christian Village
Akwadum Christian Village support and help local children lead healthier, more productive lives. We invest in a variety of projects, but place special emphasis on education, especially for orphans and children.
- In Ghana, we finance programs for thousands of homeless children, kids victimized by poverty, war, and HIV/AIDS.
- We offer scholarships to talented orphaned children who lack the resources to pursue high quality education.
- We support girls fleeing female genital mutilation and provide them with the opportunity to stay in school, start a business or learn a trade.
Our programs is guided by the belief in that Ghana’s future rests with its children and that projects developed and run by local communities produce long-term results.
