GOSPEL KARAOKE: Took place on February 2, 2019

GOSPEL KARAOKE is an event for all ages that was started by Christ Evangelical Church youth (C. E. C) in December 2018. It shies away from the usual karaoke song list as the selection is Gospel music and hymns.

The event was the idea of Coventry University student Henry Korsah and was founded by his aunty Felicity in a bid to raise money for the Akwadum Christian Village Orphanage, School and Old People’s Home in Ghana.

The Akwadum Christian Village Orphanage, School and Old People’s Home was set up by the late pastor Elizabeth Ossei, who sadly passed away in 2015. Elizabeth was the mother of Felicity, grandmother of Henry.

The organisation is currently overseen by her son pastor Gregory Korsah, head of C. E. C.

As the Ghanaian government does not fund the orphanage or school, it’s literally funded by C. E. C and people’s donations.

Felicity has done marathons and challenges via her social media accounts to help raise money for the cause to keep her mother’s legacy alive.
